Your hours have a ceiling. There are only so many appointments in a week, and once the book is full the only way to earn more from your chair is to charge more for it.
A class has a different shape. You teach the thing you already know to a room of people at once, on a day you choose, for a price you set. The skill that fills your book is the same skill people will pay to learn.
Why classes stall
Most classes do not fail because nobody wants them. They stall in the admin around them.
The post goes up. Messages come in asking for the date, the price, whether the kit is included. Somebody says they are in and never pays. Two people pay for what turned out to be the same last spot. The week before, you are chasing deposits and counting names in a notes app.
None of that is teaching, and all of it is the reason a lot of good artists never run the class they keep saying they will.
A class that sells itself
On Turnexify a course is a page on your own site. It carries what a student asks before they pay: the dates of every session, the price, what they will learn, what the seat comes with, who it is for, and where it happens, whether that is your studio, another venue, or online.
A client picks a seat and pays on a secure Stripe or Square page, straight into your account. While they pay, the seat is held for them for thirty minutes, so nobody else can take it out from under them. When two people reach for the last seat at the same moment, one gets it and the other is told it sold out. The database decides that, not the screen, so you never have to write to someone to say there was a mistake.
When the payment lands, the seat is theirs. They get an email with every session as a calendar invite, and their name appears on your student list.
Running it without running after it
Sales close on their own when the first session starts, or on a date you set. If you name an instructor, each session blocks their calendar, so nobody books a client over the class. If a student cannot come, you cancel their seat to free it, and the refund is its own button on your Payments page, when you decide.
Your appointments keep running beside it, on the same calendar and the same site.
Where to start
Start with the class people already ask you about. Put one date on it, a seat limit you can teach well, and a price that respects the day. Post the link where you post your work.
Courses come with Pro and Business. The Courses page shows how it all fits together.
