Booksy is a favourite with barbers and beauty pros, and its client app is one of the most downloaded in the category. Turnexify is built around your own website and brand. Here is how the two compare on September 27, 2026. Prices move, so look at both pricing pages before you decide.
The one real difference
Booksy is a marketplace first: clients open the Booksy app, search, and book, and your Booksy profile is your page there.
Turnexify is your own place online first: a full website on your address, with booking on every page, paid into your own Stripe or Square account, and clients who come to you, not to a directory.

What you pay
Booksy has one plan with every feature: $29.99 a month plus tax for the first person, and $20 a month for each extra staff member, with a 14-day trial. It includes 2,000 marketing texts a month.

Turnexify has a Free plan that stays free, Pro at $49 a month for up to five people, and Business at $129 for any size team, with 14% off paid yearly. For a team of five, that is $49 on Turnexify against $109.99 on Booksy.

New clients, and what they cost
Booksy's marketplace can bring you new clients. Its Boost program is optional: when a new client finds you through Booksy and comes in, you pay 30% of that first visit, at least $10 and at most $100. Clients who book through your own link or social buttons are not charged.
Turnexify has no marketplace and no fee on any booking. Clients find you through your site, your Links page, your social media, and search.
Where the money goes
Booksy's payments are its own, running on Stripe hardware and processing. Online, card on file, deposits, and cancellation fees are 2.69% + $0.30; its card reader is 2.49% + $0.10. We found no way to connect your own processor.
On Turnexify you connect your own Stripe or Square account. The money lands there, we take no percentage, and you pay your processor's standard card fees.
Your site, your address, your language
Booksy gives you a profile page on its marketplace, and a widget you can embed on a website you already have. It does not offer a website builder or your own domain.
Turnexify builds a full site for a booking business: home, services, portfolio, team, about, reviews, and contact, each with booking built in. On Pro it lives on a domain you own.
Booksy's app is available in Spanish. On Turnexify, you also write your services and policies in both languages, so a client reading in Spanish sees your own words in Spanish, and gets their emails in Spanish.
Made for showing your work
Both help you post. Booksy has social media templates with your logo. These come with Turnexify:
- A Links page for your bio, with a QR code. One link for Instagram or TikTok, with your booking button first, your next opening, your work, and every way to reach you. On every plan. Booksy suggests your profile link for the bio.
- Book This Look. A portfolio photo becomes something to book: the look, its service and extras, one price, and a short link that counts opens and bookings. On Pro.
- The share studio. Turn one of your own looks, services, or before and afters into a story, post, or square image with its price, your logo, and your booking line. On Pro.
- Courses. Clients buy seats in a workshop or class online, never the same seat twice. On Pro.
- Before and afters on your site. A slider on your service and portfolio pages, shown only with the client's consent. On Pro.
- Promo codes as well as deals. Discounts that apply on the days and hours you pick, and codes the client types while booking. On Pro. Booksy's flash sales, happy hours, and last-minute deals apply on their own.
