Vagaro is one of the biggest names in salon and spa software, with a marketplace millions of clients browse. Turnexify is built around your own website and your own brand. This is how the two compare on September 27, 2026. Prices move, so look at both pricing pages before you sign up for either.
The one real difference
Vagaro brings clients to you through its marketplace, and runs your business inside its own suite: its payments, its card readers, its add-ons.
Turnexify gives you a place of your own: a full website on your address, in English and Spanish, with booking on every page, paid into your own Stripe or Square account. Everything else follows from that.

What you pay
Vagaro's base plan is $23.99 a month for the first six months, then $30, with one calendar. Each extra staff calendar adds $10 a month, up to seven. Many parts are separate: the MySite website ($20), forms ($10), the Online Shopping Cart that deposits and online sales need ($10), payroll ($34 plus $5 per employee), and text marketing credits. There is a 30-day trial.

Turnexify has a Free plan that stays free, Pro at $49 a month, and Business at $129, with 14% off paid yearly. The website, deposits, promotions, gift cards, and courses are part of the plan, not extras.

Where the money goes
Vagaro's deposits, card on file, and no-show fees run only through Vagaro's own processing; there is no way to bring your own Stripe or Square. On its small-business plan, in-person cards are 2.6% + $0.10 and keyed-in or online payments 3.5% + $0.19, plus some network fees. The fee cannot be passed to the client.
On Turnexify you connect your own Stripe or Square account. The money lands there, we take no percentage, and you pay your processor's standard card fees. Already on Square at the desk? Your online deposits land in the same account.
Your site, your address, your language
Every Vagaro business gets a listing page on the Vagaro marketplace. A full website is MySite, a $20 a month add-on, which can run on your own domain.
Every Turnexify business gets a full website: home, services, portfolio, team, about, reviews, and contact, with booking built into each page. You choose the template and theme; on Pro it lives on a domain you own. Visitors read it in English or Spanish, and their booking emails come in the same language.
Made for showing your work
These come with Turnexify:
- A Links page for your bio, with a QR code. One link for Instagram or TikTok, with your booking button first, your next opening, your work, and every way to reach you, plus a QR code in your colours. On every plan.
- Book This Look. A portfolio photo becomes something to book: the look, its service and extras, one price, and a short link that counts opens and bookings. On Pro.
- The share studio. Turn a look, a service, or a before and after into a story, post, or square image with your logo and your booking line. On Pro.
- Promotions that apply themselves. Discounts on the days and hours you pick, the old price crossed out on your site, codes checked as the client types. On Pro.
- Courses. Sell seats in a workshop or class online, never the same seat twice. On Pro. Vagaro has classes too, mostly for fitness.

Pick by how your day runs
If your day runs on a register, a card reader, and a stream of clients from a marketplace, Vagaro is built for that.
If your day runs on your own site, your social media, and your bookings, and you want the site, the address, and the money in your name, Turnexify is built for that.
Moving over
Turnexify can import your clients, appointments, and gift cards from Vagaro, so you do not start with an empty book.
